Festival del Centro Histórico — 3D Animation & Motion Graphics Video

We worked for the 21st Festival del Centro Histórico, a major cultural event in Guatemala City, where we developed a dynamic 3D animation and motion graphics video designed as a key visual piece to represent the spirit, diversity, and energy of the festival.

The objective was to translate the essence of this cultural event — centered around heritage, art, culture, and community interaction — into a compelling audiovisual experience. The Festival del Centro Histórico serves as an important platform for cultural expression, bringing together different sectors of the city through artistic, academic, and cultural activities. Our challenge was to visually capture this convergence while highlighting the architectural richness and social dynamics of the historic center. Using Cinema 4D, After Effects, and Premiere, we created a series of custom 3D models and animated sequences, combined with 2D graphic elements, to build a layered and immersive visual narrative.

The 3D animation components were inspired by iconic architectural landmarks of the city, which were reinterpreted into stylized forms to create a bridge between reality and digital experimentation. The video integrates 3D environments with 2D motion graphics, representing the constant movement of people, ideas, and cultural activities within the city. Through carefully designed compositions, transitions, and camera movements, the cultural festival video reflects the rhythm and vibrancy of urban life in the historic center. Special attention was given to editing, pacing, and visual storytelling, ensuring that each scene contributes to a cohesive narrative that resonates with a diverse audience.
