Granitas — Branding Identity for Guatemalan Beverage Brand

For Granitas, a slurpee beverage brand based in Guatemala, we developed a vibrant and flexible branding identity system designed to reflect the fun, refreshing, and dynamic nature of the product. The goal was to create a visual language that connects with a broad audience while capturing the playful essence of the brand and its variety of flavors. Using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, we built a comprehensive visual identity system centered around a bold combination of color, shape, and character-driven elements. The palette features a range of bright, energetic colors that align with the different flavors of Granitas, allowing the brand to visually communicate variety while maintaining consistency.

A key component of the project was the development of custom character design and illustrative elements, which add personality and approachability to the brand. These characters and graphic assets were designed to be adaptable across multiple applications, reinforcing brand recognition and creating a memorable visual experience. We also developed signage design and in-store graphic applications, ensuring that the identity translates effectively into physical spaces. The system was designed to be highly scalable and flexible, allowing it to function across different formats—from large-scale signage to smaller branded materials—without losing impact.

Additionally, we worked on product photography, creating visual content that aligns with the brand’s tone and enhances its presence across digital and marketing platforms. These images support the overall identity, showcasing the product in a way that is both appealing and consistent with the visual language. All elements were consolidated into a brand manual, guiding the application of the identity across both digital and physical touchpoints. The result is a cohesive and adaptable branding system for a beverage brand, capable of evolving with new flavors, campaigns, and environments while maintaining a strong and recognizable identity.
