La Coqueta — Restaurant Visual Identity

For La Coqueta, a new Spanish and Mexican cuisine restaurant located in Fort Worth, Texas, we developed a complete brand identity system designed to capture the character, warmth, and cultural richness of its culinary concept. Commissioned by Quiroz and Co., the project focused on building a visual language that could communicate the restaurant’s personality while remaining flexible enough to be applied consistently across all brand touchpoints.

The goal of the branding process was to create a distinctive identity that reflects the lively spirit of Spanish and Mexican gastronomy, while maintaining a refined and contemporary aesthetic suitable for a modern dining experience. Through a process of concept development and art direction, we established a graphic system that balances tradition and modernity, translating the restaurant’s atmosphere and cultural references into a cohesive visual expression. Using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, we developed a comprehensive set of graphic elements and visual assets that form the foundation of the brand. Special attention was given to typography manipulation and custom lettering, creating typographic treatments that reinforce the personality of the brand while maintaining clarity and elegance. The color palette, graphic motifs, and image direction were carefully curated to evoke the vibrant culinary culture that inspires the restaurant.

As part of the project, we produced a detailed brandbook and brand guidelines document, outlining the correct application of the logo, typography, color palette, imagery, and graphic elements. These guidelines ensure that the brand maintains a strong and consistent visual identity across all platforms, including menus, editorial materials, signage, packaging, and digital communication channels. The final result is a cohesive restaurant branding system that provides La Coqueta with a strong visual presence and a clear framework for future brand development. Through the integration of branding strategy, typography design, editorial layout, and art direction, the project establishes a memorable identity that supports the restaurant’s positioning and enhances the overall dining experience.
