Múltiple — Branding for Social Reintegration Initiative

For CASLEN Guatemala, we developed the brand identity for Múltiple, a socially driven initiative that produces a series of handcrafted products created by people deprived of freedom as part of their reintegration into society. The project required a thoughtful and strategic branding approach capable of communicating both the human value behind the products and the diversity of the items being produced.

Our work began with the development of the brand concept and naming, establishing “Múltiple” as a central idea that reflects variety, adaptability, and the coexistence of different stories, skills, and product categories within a single system. From this foundation, we designed a comprehensive visual identity system that could grow alongside the initiative. Using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, we created a modular branding system designed to adapt seamlessly across a wide range of product types. This flexibility was essential, as the brand encompasses multiple categories of handcrafted goods, each with its own characteristics while still belonging to a unified identity.

The visual language incorporates illustration, typography, and editorial design principles to build a system that is both structured and expressive. Through the use of adaptable layouts, graphic elements, and compositional rules, the identity maintains consistency while allowing variation—ensuring that each product line can have its own personality without losing brand cohesion. Particular attention was given to the application of the brand across packaging and communication materials, enabling the identity to function effectively in real-world contexts. The result is a system that is not only visually engaging but also practical and scalable for ongoing production.

The final outcome is a flexible and meaningful branding system that supports the initiative’s mission, enhances product presentation, and communicates a powerful narrative of craft, dignity, and social reintegration through design.
